Aeronautical Knowledge
- Principles of aerodynamics and aircraft systems
- Powerplants and performance factors
- Effects of density altitude on takeoff and climb
Navigation & Charts
- Aeronautical charts for VFR navigation
- Pilotage, dead reckoning, and navigation systems
- Radio communication procedures
Weather & Safety
- Recognition of critical weather situations and windshear avoidance
- Use of aviation weather reports and forecasts
- Safe and efficient aircraft operation, collision avoidance, wake turbulence
Preflight & Planning
- Weight and balance computations
- Stall and spin awareness, recovery techniques
- Runway length, performance planning, fuel requirements, and alternates
B. Flight Training
Core Flight Skills

Maneuvers & Navigation
